MFA Setup

Consider that:

The MFA feature is only available under request to Axosnet’s Commercial Department

As we commented in a previous Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) section, there are two ways the MFA feature shows to the company users.  One is when the company allows them to choose to enable it or not; the other is when it is mandatory due to corporate guidelines.

To configure the MFA for your organization, follow the next steps to get it done:

1. On the ACS homepage go to the “Account Configuration” menu.

2. Then select “MFA Configuration.”

3. It will display some options to configure MFA.

The following table explains in detail each element of this screen.

FunctionsDescription

When this box is checked, it allows you to configure the MFA for your organization.
OptionalWhen Optional is marked,  the users can choose between activating MFA or not.
RequiredWhen Required is marked, using MFA becomes mandatory for your users from that precise moment.

Selecting On From activates the calendar icon; click it to choose the best date to start using the MFA in your organization. Since that date, MFA will be mandatory for your users.

Close the calendar with the OK option.

IMPORTANT: the last step after any change is always clicking on the “SAVE” button.
